Deactivating Cox Security Suite Plus


Complete the steps below to deactivate Cox Security Suite Plus from one or more of your devices if you have met the limit of five active devices and need to use a license for a new device.


Use one of the following methods to access your personalized McAfee My Account page via a web browser.

  • Go to www.cox.com/securitysuite. Enter your primary User ID and Password.

    Note: If you do not remember your User ID or Password, or experience an issue signing in, see Recover Your Cox User ID or Reset Your Cox Password.

  • Go to www.cox.com. Click Sign In My Account and enter your primary User ID and Password. From My Account, under the Internet section, click the arrow icon. From the Internet Service Details page, under Helpful Tools, click Cox Security Suite.

From the McAfee My Account page, click on the device tab that you want to deactivate.


Click Deactivate.
