Customizing Your Cox Homelife Mobile App Experience

Solution

Once signed in to the mobile app, you will land on the Overview screen. This is where you find your system’s features and devices presented in customizable tiles. If you have a camera installed as part of your Homelife system, you will see a default camera view automatically at the top of the Overview screen.

Editing Overview Screen

To edit your Overview screen, complete the following steps.

  1. Sign in to the Cox Homelife mobile app.
  2. On the Overview screen, tap Edit in the top right corner.
  3. To reorder your device tiles, hold the Move icon and drag the tile where you want it on the screen and release.

  4. Tap Save in the top right corner to exit the Edit Mode and save all changes to your Overview screen.

Adding New Devices

To add new devices to your Overview screen, complete the following steps.

  1. Sign in to the Cox Homelife mobile app.
  2. On the Overview screen, tap Edit in the top right corner.
  3. In Edit Mode, tap Select More Devices.

  4. On the Select Devices screen, tap the check boxes for the devices you want to add to your Overview screen. Tap Save.

  5. On the Overview screen, tap Save in the top right corner to exit the Edit Mode and save all changes to your Overview screen.

Removing Devices and Features

To delete certain devices from the Overview screen, follow the steps below.

  1. Sign in to the Cox Homelife mobile app.
  2. On the Overview screen, tap Edit in the top right corner.
  3. In Edit Mode, tap the remove icon on the left side of any device tile that can be removed.

    Note: Only certain tiles can be removed; however, all tiles can be moved around to display in any order you like.

  4. On the Overview screen, tap Save in the top right corner to exit the Edit Mode and save all changes to your Overview screen.
