Creating a Scheduled Recording for Program Series Using Contour

Follow these steps to schedule a recording from the guide.

Press the GUIDE button on the remote.

Find a show to record.

Press REC.

Result: The Record Options window displays with Just this episode selected.

Press the right arrow to highlight All future episodes, then press OK.

Result: The Series Options window displays.

In the Series Options window, use the up and down arrows to move between the following settings, and the left and right arrows to make changes.

Record – Choose to record New episodes only or All episodes, including repeats.
Record On - Allows choice of which DVR receiver to record.

Note: This feature only appears on accounts with multiple DVRs.
Save – Choose to save recordings until space is needed or for one year.
Keep – Choose to keep all or only a specified number of the most recent episodes.
Start – Choose to start the recording on time or up to two minutes early.
Stop – Choose to stop the recording on time or up to five minutes late.

Note: Auto Extend is activated by default for MLB, NASCAR, NBA, NCAA Men's Football and Basketball, NFL, NHL games, and select professional soccer league matches.
Channel – Choose to record the show in SD or HD, from only the current channel, or from any channel.

Note: The current channel option does not display in the Series Options menu after selecting Record, then All Episodes from a search result.
