Contour 2 Home Shopping Network App Appears Frozen or Buffering

Solution

Use the following information to troubleshoot the Home Shopping Network Shop by Remote app when the picture appears frozen or buffering.
 
Note: As an Internet application, the Home Shopping Network Shop by Remote app works just like Home Shopping Network does on an Internet device which may buffer due to slow Internet speeds.
 

  1. Attempt to access the connections on the back of the cable receiver and ensure the cables are finger tight.
  2. On the Cox remote control, press Exit.
    • If the app continues to appear frozen, then unplug the receiver for 30 seconds and then plug the receiver back in.
    • If the app doesn't appear to be frozen, then attempt to relaunch the app.
