Changing the Contact Information for Homelife Automation Rules in the Subscriber Portal

Solution

Text and email are used by Cox Homelife to send notifications to customers based upon rules of their choosing. You can change the notification phone number and email address through the subscriber portal.

Follow the steps below to edit your contacts for rules-based alerts or notifications through the subscriber portal.

Click the More menu and select Contacts.

The Contacts window displays. Click the modify Pencil to the right of the contact to be changed.

Edit the Email and Phone as necessary. Click SAVE when editing is complete.
 
Add Contact

Note: The phone must be able to receive text messages in order to receive rules-based text message alerts and notifications (SMS messages).
