Change Wireless Security Settings

Cox WiFi modems are pre-configured with the ideal WiFi and security settings. WPA2-PSK is the recommended setting for the best security available and is strongly recommended to achieve the fastest speeds possible.
 

To update your Wireless Security settings, complete the following.

1. From the Network Settings page, click Show Advanced Settings.
2. Locate the network you wish to update and click the Wireless Security drop-down.
3. Select WPA2-PSK or the applicable security setting, as shown below.
