Troubleshooting
The lights indicate the current status of your gateway. To troubleshoot any connection problems, use the table below.

Power

Receive ![receive light](https://www.cox.com/content/dam/cox/residential/support/internet/images/Arris_receive_light.png) | Flashing | Scanning for the downstream channel is in progress. Verify all cable connections and try resetting the modem. |
Solid Green | None. Connection from the computer to the internet is established on one channel. |
Solid Blue | None. The modem operates on multiple channels (downstream bond mode). |

Flashing | Scanning for the upstream channel is in progress. |
Solid Green | None. Connection from the internet to the computer is established on one channel. |
Solid Blue | None. The modem operates on multiple channels (upstream bond mode). |
Online

Amber | None. The WPS Pairing process is underway between the SBG6400 and a WPS-enabled wireless device. |
Green | None. Any of the following applies. - A 2.4 GHz wireless connection is made between the SBG6400 and another Wi-Fi-enabled device on your home network.
- The WPS Pairing process between the SBG6400 and WPS-enabled wireless device was successful.
- The WPS Pairing process either failed or did not complete after two minutes.
