Troubleshooting
The lights indicate the current status of your modem. To troubleshoot any connection problems, use the table below.

Power | Solid Green | None |
Flashing Green | No power / good battery. Verify power supply connections and electrical outlet. Also, make sure the outlet is not connected to a switch. |
Off | No power / no battery. Verify power supply connections and electrical outlet. Also, make sure the outlet is not connected to a switch. |
DS (Downstream) | Solid Green | None |
Flashing Green | No connectivity to the Internet. Verify cable connections and try resetting the modem. |
Off | Verify cable connections and try resetting the modem. |
US (Upstream) | Solid Green | None |
Flashing Green | No connectivity to Internet or in Standby mode. Verify cable connections and try resetting the modem. |
Off | Verify cable connections and try resetting the modem. |
Online | Solid Green | None |
Off | Internet not available. Verify cable connections and try resetting the modem. |
Link | Solid Green | None. An Ethernet connection to the computer was successfully found. |
Flashing Green | None. Modem is transferring data. |
Off | No Ethernet found. Verify cable connections and try resetting the modem. |
Telephone 1 | Solid Green | None. Service is available and the phone is on the hook. |
Flashing Green | Phone off hook. Hang up the phone. |
Off | Service not available. |
Telephone 2 | Solid Green | None. Service is available and the phone is on the hook. |
Flashing Green | Phone off hook. Hang up the phone. |
Off | Service not available. |
Battery | Solid Green | None. Battery is good. |
Flashing Green | Battery is bad. Verify power is connected to the modem. |
Off | Battery is missing. |
