Adjusting Kids Zone Settings

Solution

Use your Cox remote to adjust the viewing restrictions, parental controls, and other settings within Kids Zone.

Settings and parental controls for Kids Zone can only be changed through the Settings menu within Kids Zone.

Access Kids Zone and then use the arrows to highlight the Settings gear icon at the top left of the screen.

Use the arrows to highlight one of the following options and then press OK to turn the toggle the option to ON or OFF.

Options	Use or Option Details
Use Parental Control PIN	When active, the Parental Control PIN must be entered to exit Kids Zone.
Restrict by Age Range	After pressing OK to turn Restrict by Age Range on, an age range selector displays. Use the arrows to highlight an age range to restrict and then press OK. Repeat for additional age ranges. Result: The lock icon turns blue for selected age ranges.
Allow Recordings	Enable or block the ability to schedule recordings in Kids Zone.
Play next episode	Automatically play the next episode of a kids TV series.
Common Sense media ratings	Turn the display of Common Sense Media Ratings on or off in Kids Zone.

Use the arrows to highlight EXIT in the top left corner of the screen and then press OK.
