Cox Homelife provides a silent alarm feature that can be activated through the Key Fob, the Keypad, and the Touchscreen. Panic / Emergency alarms are reported without an entry delay or an alarm transmission delay.
Cox Homelife provides a silent alarm feature that can be activated through the Key Fob, the Keypad, and the Touchscreen. Panic / Emergency alarms are reported without an entry delay or an alarm transmission delay.
To activate the panic alarm on your keypad, press and hold the panic button for three seconds.
Result: A silent alarm is sent to the Central Monitoring Service (CMS) for police assistance.
The Touchscreen will not react, but the Keypad Unlock Button flashes to indicate that the alarm has been sent. The emergency dispatch contact list is notified by email or SMS that the alarm has been triggered.
Note: The Centralite Keypad does not have a panic button.
Follow the steps below to activate the emergency alarm on your Touchscreen.

Fire | Tap Fire to send an alarm for emergency fire assistance. |
Medical | Tap Medical to send an alarm for emergency medical assistance. |
Police | Tap Police to send an alarm for police assistance.
Enter your four-digit master code to silence the siren from an audible alarm; however, the alarm has already been sent to the CMS and police and cannot be canceled after the five-second delay. |
To activate the panic alarm on your key fob, press the panic button on the key fob and hold for three seconds.
Result: A silent alarm is sent to the CMS for police assistance.
The Touchscreen will not react in any way, but the key fob LED flashes red once to indicate it has contacted the system, then flashes red seven times. The subscriber Contact List is notified by email or SMS that the alarm has been triggered.
