Accessing the Contour 2 Netflix App

Solution

Netflix TV shows and movies are integrated directly into the browse menus and search functionality of Contour 2. 

  • Contour 2 does not support any 4K content, and will not stream any 4K content, regardless of Netflix streaming plan.
  • You must have a compatible Contour 2 receiver, or you will not have access to the Netflix app.
  • In the Contour 2 on-screen guide, content marked with the icon Internet icon will count toward the customer data usage. For more information, refer to Understanding Data Usage.
  • Any level of Cox Internet service is required.

You must subscribe and be signed into Netflix to browse menus and use the search functionality. For more information refer to Signing into Netflix on Contour 2.

Voice Command

Using your voice, go directly to the Netflix app.
 

  1. Press the Mic button on your remote and when prompted say "Netflix."
     
    Result: Netflix displays.
     

     
  2. Confirm you are signed into Netflix. For more information, refer to Signing In to Netflix on Contour 2 as needed.

Remote Control

Use your remote to access Netflix.

  1. Press Contour on your remote.
  2. From the Menu, scroll to Apps.
     
     
     
  3. Press OK and use the arrow keys to highlight Netflix.
  4. Press OK.
