You can now access the YouTube app directly from your Contour 2 receiver. YouTube offers you access to videos and associated subscription content.
- In the Contour 2 on-screen guide, content marked with the icon will count towards your data usage. For more information, refer to Understanding Data Usage.
- A subscription to any level of Cox Residential Internet service and Contour 2 is required.

Note: You are not required to create a YouTube account; however, you will not be able to access library history or subscriptions.

Note: The YouTube app on the Contour 2 receiver does not have parental controls that guard against new content searches or playback within the app.
Additional Questions and Answers
The Contour 2 accessibility user preferences are not available once the YouTube app is launched. This is because the YouTube app is a third-party application.
Important: The voice commands do not function within the YouTube app.
