Can I use my own equipment?

You may use your own internet equipment but won’t be able to receive the benefits of connecting in minutes or a free month of service. To experience hassle-free connection in minutes, you must select the Premium WiFi Modem rental in your cart.

What if I want TV, phone, or Homelife?

We encourage you to make the most of your Cox service by bundling internet, TV, Digital Telephone and Cox Homelife, all on one convenient bill. Simply select a package that includes the services that suit your needs, customize your equipment and features in the cart, and follow the online checkout process to complete your order. As long as you keep the pre-installed internet modem selected in your cart, you’ll be online in minutes. Your TV and Digital Telephone services can be self installed or professionally installed, depending on eligibility. Cox Homelife is not currently available for ordering online, but you may complete an online form to receive more information and meet with an advisor.

What information do I need to sign-up?

During the check-out process, you have the opportunity to customize your package with TV channels, TV equipment, premium tech support and telephone features depending on which services you have selected. Be sure to keep the pre-installed internet modem selected during customization to be online in minutes. To complete your order, we’ll need your name, phone number, email address, service and billing address and payment information. You may be asked to provide a social security number to complete a secure credit check. You will also set up a 4-digit Cox PIN number for security purposes.

How do I connect to WiFi once I have activated service?

Check on the bottom of your WiFi modem for your secure WiFi network name and password. Follow these instructions to connect your device to WiFi.

What if I’m not satisfied with my service?

We encourage you to reach out to a customer care representative (918-286-3443 or Chat Online) to resolve any issues you may experience with your Cox services. A 30-day money-back guarantee is available on new video, internet and telephone service activations (not including service transfers) and is limited to refund of (i) Video: standard installation charge, first regular monthly programming charge, and first month’s Cox video equipment rental, and excludes charges for nonstandard installation, sports packages, Pay-Per-View and On Demand® programming, and other video-related charges; (ii) Internet: standard installation charge, first month’s service fee, and equipment charge if purchased or rented from Cox, and excludes other Cox internet-related fees; and (iii) Phone: first month’s recurring service fee for the subscribed phone plan on one line, and excludes installation, out-of-plan long distance and toll, and all other phone-related charges. Service for which refund is requested must be disconnected, and request for refund must be made within 30 days of service activation.

What if I don't want to activate service?

Cox offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on new video, internet and telephone service so that you can experience services risk-free. No action is needed on your part if you do not sign up for Cox services, and the professionally installed internet modem will remain in your home in an inactive state.

I am transferring my services. Can I still receive a month of free service?

You are eligible for one (1) month of free Internet Preferred 100 service if you upgrade from your Data-only product to a Cox bundle or if you are a new customer.

How quickly can I access the Internet once I order QuickConnect services?

You can access the Internet within 15 minutes of ordering services. Just look for your WiFi Username and Password on your Premium WiFi Modem to connect your device.
