Spectrum has announced the acquisition of Cox Communities, becoming part of Spectrum – one of the nation's most expansive and reliable networks, extending connectivity to more communities nationwide. Residents and community managers alike won't see any changes to current services. ### Will residents experience any service disruptions? No. Residents will continue to receive the same Cox services without interruption – signal quality, channel lineups and Internet performance are all unchanged. Community managers can expect any property-level service, common area WiFi or TV to continue as well. ### Will residents get access to popular streaming apps as part of their TV service? Yes! Eligible residents will get popular streaming apps – including HBO Max, Disney+, Hulu and more – automatically added to their TV service at no extra cost. Additional apps like Paramount+, AMC+, Discovery+, Fox One, ViX and Spectrum News are also included. This benefit is coming soon. If you have a Cox Mini Box (DTA), Wall-Mounted DTA, or Contour 1 receiver, your equipment does not support the included streaming apps. To access streaming apps, you will need to upgrade to a compatible device. Please contact Customer Service for assistance reviewing your equipment and available upgrade options. No. Residents will continue to receive their bill the same way, with the same payment options they currently use. Community managers can continue managing resident billing exactly as they do today. ### Will my agreement change? No. Whether you're a resident or a community manager overseeing a Bulk/MDU contract, your current agreement stays the same for now. If anything changes in the future, we'll notify you in advance so you have time to review your options. ### Will technician appointments and installations go ahead as planned? Yes, any scheduled appointments or installations will continue as planned. ### Will my community's Bulk or MDU contracts remain the same? Yes. For community managers and HOAs, your community's agreement, pricing and terms remain in place exactly as-is. We're committed to honoring all community and Bulk contracts through this transition. ### Do property managers or HOAs need to take any action? No action is needed. Continue managing resident inquiries and billing as you do today. We'll guide you if anything changes down the line. ### Do residents or community managers need to take any action? No action is needed from residents or property managers. Residents can continue enjoying their services as usual, and managers can continue handling resident inquiries, billing and services exactly as they do today. ### Will email addresses or account information change? No, email and account details will remain the same. If anything changes in the future, we'll let you know ahead of time. ### Will service improve because of the merger? Over time, residents can expect enhancements as we combine our networks and capabilities, and community managers can expect the same reliability and support they count on today – with even more options.
