There are two ways SmartHelp has your back: helping troubleshoot the occasional unexpected issues that can pop up from time to time, or alerting you to known issues that we’ve detected and can help you fix.
When your tech is acting up and you don’t know why, just tap the “Help” button on the Cox app or in My Account and SmartHelp will let us know you’re having an issue without having to call. From there, our team will help diagnose the issue, fix any connection problems and get you back to enjoying your services.
If you receive a notification about a detected issue, SmartHelp is already on it and ready to help you get things back up and running. Detected issue alerts may include:
If there’s an outage in your area, we’ll let you know and keep you posted on the estimated repair time.

When account payments are overdue, your service may be temporarily suspended.
