Cox Coronavirus (COVID-19) response

During this time of uncertainty and required in-home learning, Cox is helping get families in need connected to the internet through our Connect2Compete program.
Through June 30, 2021 :

  • Download speeds have been temporarily increased from 25 to 50 Mbps to ensure students can continue to learn from home (as needed).
  • More than 3 million Cox Wifi hotspots located in businesses and outdoor locations across the country will remain open to help keep the public connected in this time of need.
  • Customers experiencing hardship as a result of the coronavirus pandemic are encouraged to create a payment plan. To qualify, you must let us know that you are experiencing hardship by chatting with our live agents.
 

To Qualify: You must not be an existing Cox internet customer, your household must have at least one K-12 student and participate in the National School Lunch Program, Head Start, SNAP, WIC, LIHEAP, and/or TANF; who receive Tenant-Based Vouchers, Project-Based Vouchers or Section 8 Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA); and/or who live in Public Housing

To Qualify: Families with K-12 children who are eligible for the National School Lunch Program, Head Start, SNAP, WIC, LIHEAP, and/or TANF; who receive Tenant-Based Vouchers, Project-Based Vouchers or Section 8 Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA); and/or who live in Public Housing
