Cox Email

In order to give you increased freedom and mobility, Cox is upgrading our email experience to make it easier for you to manage your email across any device.

Sign in to Cox Email

The new email platform is available to all Cox High Speed Internet customers at no additional cost. Our new webmail experience features:

  1. A new, modern look and feel that changes to fit your screen size

  2. A calendar to help you get organized

  3. Alert messages to notify you of upcoming calendar invites or unread messages

  4. Easy-to-configure settings

  5. A dashboard to organize your entire mail account in a single view

  6. Create up to 10 accounts of 2 GB each (10 GB for Ultimate and 15 GB for Gigablast)

Your Email Address

You may create an email account that will be the same as your My Account User ID you chose during account registration followed by @cox.net. See example below:

Manage Email Addresses

Create, delete, and reactivate email accounts through My Profile in My Account on Cox.com. To start, go to cox.com/MyProfile, sign in with your primary User ID, and select the “Users & Email Accounts” tab.

Don't see the Users & Email Accounts tab in My Profile? You may be signed in to a secondary user account, so try signing out and back in with a primary user account.

Access Cox Email via the Web

Send, receive, and manage your Cox Email anytime, anywhere through the web portal.

  1. Go to cox.com/email or go through My Account.

  2. Sign in with your My Account User ID and Password. Don't have one? Register Now.

  3. You’re all set! Send and receive messages and set up your address book.

Accessing Email on a Third-Party Email Client

Using an email program such as Outlook, Windows Mail, Entourage, Mac Mail, or mobile phone? You’ll need the settings below:

IMAP: imap.cox.net, Port 993

SMTP: smtp.cox.net, PORT 587 or 465 (secure/SSL) For the outgoing SMTP server, please ensure you re-enter your password.

All Cox Internet plans include 1 TB (1024 GB) per month of data usage. Unlimited and 500 GB Additional Data Plans can be added for an additional monthly charge. Data usage in excess of plan may result in a $10 charge for up to 50 GB of additional data and for each additional 50 GB block, except for Unlimited Data Plan subscribers.
