Cox Email

Cox Email offers freedom and mobility to easily manage your email across any device. Continue reading to learn about managing Cox Email accounts, signing in, features and more. As of August 15, 2019, Cox no longer offers the ability for new and existing Cox Internet customers to create new Cox Email accounts.

Cox Email features include:

  4. Easy-to-configure settings

  5. A dashboard to organize your entire mail account in a single view

  6. Ability to customize email folders and drag-and-drop email attachments

Manage Email Addresses

Manage email accounts through My Profile in My Account on Cox.com. To start, go to cox.com/MyProfile, sign in with your primary User ID, and select Manage Users.

Access Cox Email via the Web

Access and manage your Cox Email anytime, anywhere through the web portal on any device.

  1. Go to cox.com/email or go through My Account.

  2. Sign in with your My Account User ID and Password.

  3. You’re all set! Send and receive messages and set up your address book.

Accessing Email on a Third-Party Email Client

Using an email program such as Outlook, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, Mac Mail, or mobile phone? You’ll need the settings below:

IMAP: imap.cox.net, Port 993

SMTP: smtp.cox.net, turn on SMTP authentication and use Port 465 with SSL or SSL/TLS as the encryption type.

All Cox Internet plans include 1 TB (1024 GB) per month of data usage. Unlimited and 500 GB Additional Data Plans can be added for an additional monthly charge. Data usage in excess of plan may result in a $10 charge for up to 50 GB of additional data and for each additional 50 GB block, except for Unlimited Data Plan subscribers.
