Turn it on and wait for the pulsing light (pairing mode). **2** Open the Cox Homelife app to finish pairing, then find your bulb under Manage Device. **3** Tap Edit to name your light (e.g., hallway, kitchen). **Troubleshoot smart lights installation** If pairing is unsuccessful, try resetting the bulb by turning it on and off 10 times. The bulb will begin to pulse, indicating it’s ready to pair. Magnet and sensor must be installed on two surfaces that are flush with one another No tools needed to install Requires 1 CR2450 battery (included) Make sure to clean the surface area before applying magnet and sensor with the double-sided tape to ensure stability [View steps](####Steps for installing smart sensors) Soon you’ll know whenever a door or window is opened or closed. Installing is easy and only takes a few minutes, let’s get started. **1** Unpack your smart sensor kit, which includes a sensor, magnet, and adhesive strips. Clean and dry the surface where you’ll install the sensor. Place it near the top edge of the door, drawer, or cabinet. **2** Test placement before sticking: sensor and magnet should be on opposite sides and no more than ¼" apart. Make sure the object opens and closes freely. **3** Apply adhesive (see diagram): Larger strip to the sensor. Smaller strip to the magnet. **4** Mount them in place: Stick the sensor to the stationary side Stick the magnet to the moving side Press both firmly for 3 seconds **How to Pair a Door/Window Sensor** *Note: If your network isn’t found after 100 seconds, the sensor will go into sleep mode and will need to be woken up to restart the pairing process. To wake the sensor up, you simply need to separate the magnet and sensor. Once it’s installed pair your new Door/Window Sensors with your Homelife hub **Learn how to use your Smart Lights** Tap the Lights tile and tap the selected light bulb to turn lights on or off, or select the All On or All Off options. For dimmable lights, press the square adjustment icon for your light and change brightness with the slider. **1** Sign into your Cox Homelife app and on the Overview screen, click the More tab and tap Manage Devices. **2** While on the Manage Devices screen, tap Add Devices and select Door/Window Sensors and push Continue twice. **3** Pull the plastic tab from the sensor to activate the battery. The light will begin to blink. Once on, it will automatically enter pairing mode. **4** Follow the instructions on screen to complete the process and pair your sensors. Once your sensors are paired with the Homelife hub, you can name the sensor to indicate its location. --- ### How to Set Up Smart Door Locks Never lose your keys again. Still stuck? Call Kwikset at 1-866-863-6584. **Learn how to use your Smart Door Locks and program user codes** You can program up to 30 individual user codes for your door lock. The light will begin blinking—this means it’s entering pairing mode. When the blue light blinks, the plug is ready to pair. **2** Open the Cox Homelife app and sign in. Then, tap the More tab, then tap Manage Devices. **3** Tap Add Devices, then select the Lights icon. Follow the on-screen steps to complete pairing. **4** Once paired with the Homelife hub, you can move the plug to any outlet in your home. **Learn how to use your Smart Plugs** Tap the Lights tile and tap the light bulb icon to turn selected lights on, or appliances controlled by the Smart Plug, on or off. Select Pair Camera and follow prompts **5** Confirm Connection: a. Ensure both green lights on the camera are blinking b. App will confirm pairing status c.
