Receive instant notifications if an alarm is triggered. Plus, with cellular backup your system never goes offline – even in the event of a lost internet connection.*

Keep an eye on your home with HD cameras and text/email alerts. Set up automations to receive texts or email notifications when doors open, lights go on, or windows are opened. Access live video feeds through your Cox Homelife mobile app and record video 24 hours a day for the most recent ten days with a Continuous Video Recording subscription.

You're able to control Homelife in two convenient ways with the Touchscreen Control Panel and the Cox Homelife mobile app. Stay in control of your home on demand or with scheduled automations while you're away: turn lights on and off, set thermostat schedules, control small appliances and more.

Important Tips

Once your Cox Homelife system is installed, follow these important tips to ensure proper system function and minimize false alarms.

PERMITS: Your city may require you to obtain an alarm user permit. Click here to check your city's requirements. Enter your permit number and expiration date on your account. In your mobile app, go to the More menu and then select Account.

TOUCHSCREEN: The Touchscreen Control Panel is the hub of your security and automation system. Once installed, it should not be moved, as it could result in loss of system functionality.

EMERGENCY CONTACTS: Make sure your contact numbers for Emergency Dispatch are always up-to-date. In your mobile app, go to the More menu and then select Contacts.

CENTRAL STATION CALLER ID: Be sure to save the Central Monitoring Station's phone number to your contacts so you know when we're calling to verify an alarm or emergency: 1-800-633-2677.
