User ID & Password
Register by account number.
Enter your 12, 13, or 16 digit Account Number using no spaces or hyphens. You can find your account number in the top right corner of your Cox services bill.
Register by address.
Enter the street address shown on your Cox services bill. If you reside in an apartment, enter your apartment or unit number. Enter the building number first. For example, if your building number is 4 and your apartment number is A, you would enter 4A.
Enter your Cox PIN or SSN. For security purposes, please enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number or your Cox PIN, which can be found on your Cox services bill.
Creating a User ID.
User IDs are not case sensitive and can contain a mixture of letters, numbers, periods (.), dashes (-), and underscores (_).Your User ID cannot start or end with a special character or contain any spaces.
Creating a Password.
Your case-sensitive password must be between 8 and 24 characters long and include at least one letter and one number. You may include special characters such as: !@#$%^*(). Passwords may not contain any form of the word "password" or your User ID.
Selecting a primary contact email address.
This email address will be used as the primary contact email on your account.
Cox is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you are notified of all changes made to your account. By providing your email address, Cox will send you important notifications when certain proprietary account information has been changed.

Signing up for paperless billing.
If you choose to sign up for Paperless Billing, your electronic statements will be delivered to your primary contact email address. Stop receiving your Cox service bill in the mail and opt to receive convenient, monthly reminders sent to your primary email address when your bill is ready to review.
