The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC program to help households struggling to pay for Internet service during the pandemic. Through this program, the Federal government will provide a discount of up to $50 per month towards Internet service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on Tribal lands. It is limited to one monthly service discount and one device per household.
According to the FCC, April is expected to be the last month of the ACP subsidy. Congress needs to allocate additional funding for this program, which currently has over 23 million households participating. Cox is actively advocating to Congress for continued support.
Cox remains committed to providing customers with affordable internet and connectivity options even if ACP ends. We will continue to offer a wide range of Internet speeds and prices, including our low-cost affordability tiers Connect2Compete and ConnectAssist. We also have great offers on Cox Mobile that when combined with Cox Internet can lead to significant savings on customers' overall telecommunications services.
If you are currently enrolled in ACP through Cox, we will notify you of any program changes and will work with you to find the right solutions for your household.
