The Admin passwords and User passcodes for the Cox Business Voice Portal must meet the following criteria:
- Passwords must be six to eight digits in length.
- Passwords cannot be or contain any of the following:
- Be your extension or phone number
- Be the reverse of your extension or phone number
- Contain three or more repeated digits
- Contain more than three sequentially ascending digits
- Contain more than three sequentially descending digits
- Contain repeating patterns
- The following rules only apply to the User Passcode:
- Cannot be any of the last six passwords that you have used
- Cannot be the reverse of a previous password
