Signing In to Receptionist Console


The Receptionist Console is the incoming call routing tool you can use with your IP Centrex service. Sign in to your Receptionist Console with the following steps.

Note: You must have the phone number assigned to your MyAccount user in order to complete the following steps. See Managing Phone Number Assignments in MyAccount for more details.


In a web browser, go to console.coxbusiness.com/receptionist.

  1. In the User ID and Password fields, enter your Cox Business MyAccount User ID and Password.
  2. Click Sign In.

Note: If you are a profile owner, then you can also access Receptionist Console from MyAccount, in the Applications section of Voice Tools.


From the Receptionist Console home page, you can see or manage the following areas.

  • Call Console
  • Queued Calls
  • Contacts
