Complete the following steps.
- Connect the coax cable from an active cable outlet to the internet modem.
- Connect the power cord from the internet modem to an electrical outlet.
Note: Ensure that the electrical outlet isn't connected to a dimmer or a switched outlet.

Wait a few minutes for the modem to power on.
Note: When the Online light stays solid, the modem is connected to the network. This could take up to ten minutes.

Connect the Ethernet cable to the internet modem and either to the WAN / Internet port on your router or to the WAN port on your computer.
Important: Connect the Ethernet cable to only the top Ethernet port on the modem.
