3

Use one of the following to power on the phone.

  • LAN switch: If you are using a LAN switch with Power over Ethernet (PoE), then no additional power source is needed.
  • Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector (if included): For instructions on how to power your phone with a PoE injector, see Setting Up a Power Over Ethernet Injector.
  • Power cable (if included): Plug the power cord into the power port on the back of the phone and into the wall outlet.

Note: The phone is ready to use when the line keys are lit green. This may take up to three minutes.

  2. Place the handset into the charger and wait two to three minutes.

Note: The handset takes about six hours to fully recharge.
5

Do you want to pair additional handsets?

  • If yes, then continue to the next step.
  • If no, then proceed to step 7.
6

Complete the following steps to pair additional handsets.

  1. Locate the admin handset. The admin handset displays the number 1 on the top left corner of the handset display.
  2. From the base station, press and hold the handset locator button for four seconds.
  3. From each handset, press and hold the OK button until "Please Wait..." displays.

Note: The pairing is complete when Registered displays on the screen.

  1. Plug the power cord into the repeater and wall outlet.
  2. From the base station, press and hold the handset locator button for four seconds.
  3. From the repeater, press the pairing button.
