Returning Your Cox Business Equipment


Once you have contacted us to complete an equipment swap, disconnect, upgrade, or downgrade of service, it is important to return Cox Business-owned equipment within 10 business days to avoid unreturned equipment charges.
Important: You must contact us to make account changes before returning your equipment.

The following items must be returned to avoid charges.

  • Digital TV receivers
  • Power cords or power supplies
  • Internet modems
  • Telephone modems
  • Remote controls
  • Phone equipment such as, switches or physical phones
  • Security, detection, and surveillance equipment

Options to Return Cox Business Equipment

You can return the Cox Business - owned equipment using one the below options.
Important: At this time, we are unable to accept Cox Business equipment returns at a Cox Solutions Store.

UPS Store

For customers who are located near a UPS Store or have moved to an area not serviced by Cox, the Return Anywhere option offers the flexibility to return Cox equipment to any UPS store located within the United States.

  • To avoid potential charges, contact us to change your service before you return any equipment.
  • A return box and a shipping label are not needed when dropping off the equipment to a return location.
