Restoring Gateway Configuration in Cox Business MyAccount

Solution

The gateway is automatically backed up each day. Restoring the configuration will update the gateway settings to match the most recently saved backup. It does not reset the device to the default settings.

Complete the following steps to configure the Restore / Backup process.

Click the Gateway Summary tab.

Click Restore Gateway Configuration.

Important: Restoring the gateway configuration to the last backup is not reversible. Only the settings that you change in your Cox Business MyAccount are backedup. If you have advanced settings, such as port forwarding or DMZ, then refer to the existing installation and management guide for your gateway.

Click Confirm.
