Replacing the PowerG Water / Auxiliary Sensor Battery

Solution

The PowerG water / auxiliary sensor requires one CR-123A battery.

Complete the following steps to remove the cover.

  1. Insert a flat-head screwdriver into the slot and push upward to remove the cover.
  2. Remove the screw and separate the cover from the base.

Wedge a small flat-head screwdriver under the battery and remove the battery.

Insert the new CR-123A battery at an angle while observing battery polarity and press down on the battery until it fits into place.

Snap the cover into place and ensure it is closed securely.

Note: After replacing the battery, the system may take up to five minutes to clear the low battery warning message.
