Push the button on the bottom of the sensor and remove it from the backplate.

Remove the old AAA batteries.

Insert the new AAA batteries while observing polarity.

Snap the cover into place and ensure it is closed securely to avoid any tamper notifications.
Note: After replacing the battery, the system may take up to five minutes to clear the low battery warning message.
