Performing a System Refresh on a Contour DVR

Solution

If your DVR displays recordings that you have removed or does not display updated scheduled recordings, then you can perform a system refresh to update your Contour DVR.

All TVs connected to your Contour set-top box will be interrupted until the system refresh is complete.

Using the Cox remote, press the A button.

Result: The Help page displays.

Use the arrow buttons to highlight System Refresh, then press OK.

Result: The System Refresh pop up window displays.

From the System Refresh pop up, use the arrow buttons to highlight Refresh Now, then press OK.

Important: The system refresh takes up to 20 minutes and does not delete any preferences, settings, or recordings.
