Noisy or Buzzing Audio

Solution

1

Identify the channels on which the noisy audio is located.

2

If you hear a static type sound, or buzzing in the audio while the program is on, the audio settings between the TV and the receiver may not be set within the optimal quality range.

Fine tune these settings by doing the following.

  1. Use the TV remote or the TV volume control buttons to turn the TV volume all the way down.
  2. Use the Cox remote to turn the receiver volume all the way up.
  3. Use the TV remote or the TV volume control buttons to adjust the volume to a comfortable level.
3

If the noisy audio still exists, contact us for additional troubleshooting.
