The National Do Not Call Registry allows customers to submit their wired and wireless phone numbers to a database that informs certain telemarketers not to contact the numbers.
Consumers can register for the National Do Not Call registry in two ways, online or by calling a toll-free number.
- Registration is free and is available in both English and Spanish.
- Registration does not expire unless a number is disconnected, or until the consumer takes it off the registry.

Submit a Complaint
If you receive telemarketing calls after you have registered your phone number and your number has been in the registry for 31 days, you can file a complaint at https://donotcall.gov or by calling 888-382-1222.
Within the telemarketing rules associated with the National Do Not Call Registry, consumers with established relationships with companies such as Cox may continue to receive sales calls from those companies.
