Consumers can register in two ways, online or by calling a toll-free number. Registration is free and is available in both English and Spanish. Registration does not expire unless a number is disconnected, or until the consumer takes it off the registry.

After registering online, consumers will receive an email and need to click on a link in the email within 72 hours to complete online registration. Email addresses on the registry will not be shared with anyone.|
|By phone||Consumers can register by calling, toll-free, 888-382-1222 (TTY 866-290-4236).||If consumers register by phone, they must call from the number they want to register.|
Submit a Complaint
If you receive telemarketing calls after you have registered your phone number and your number has been in the registry for 31 days, you can file a complaint at https://donotcall.gov or by calling 888-382-1222.
Within the telemarketing rules associated with the National Do Not Call Registry, consumers with established relationships with companies such as Cox may continue to receive sales calls from those companies.
