Managing the Parental Control Feature Day and Time Locks on Contour

Day and Time Locks allows you to set parental controls to block all programming viewing between certain hours on certain days.

On the Cox remote, press the CONTOUR button.

Press the arrow buttons to highlight Settings, then press OK.

Press the down arrow button to highlight Parental Controls, then press OK.

Enter your four-digit PIN.

Press the down arrow button to highlight Day and Time Locks, then press OK.

Set the start time for the lock.

1. With Starts highlighted press OK
2. Press the up or down arrow buttons to set the start hour.
3. Press the right arrow button to get to the minutes setting.
4. Press the up or down arrow buttons to set the start minutes setting in any 5-minute increment.
   
   Example: 8:05, 8:10, 8:15
   
   
5. Press the right arrow button to get to the am / pm setting.
6. Press the up or down arrow buttons to set the start time to am or pm.
7. Press OK.

On the Day and Time Locks screen, press the right arrow button over to Ends. Press OK.

1. Press the arrow buttons to set the end time.
2. Press the up or down arrow buttons to set the end hour.
3. Press the right arrow button to the minutes setting.
4. Press the up or down arrow buttons to set the end minutes setting in any 5-minute increment.
   
   Example: 8:05, 8:10, 8:15
   
   
5. Press the right arrow button to select am / pm.
6. Press the up or down arrow buttons to set the end time to am or pm.
7. Press OK.

Press the down arrow button to highlight the first day of the week you would like to lock and press OK. Repeat for additional days.

Note: Unlocked days are indicated by a gray open lock icon. Locked days are indicated by a closed blue lock.
