Managing Existing Cisco Webex Accounts

Solution

Your MyAccount username is used to establish your Cisco Webex for Cox Business service. To successfully migrate to Cisco Webex, you must ensure you do not have an existing Cisco Webex username that matches your MyAccount username.

If you have an existing Cisco Webex username, choose one of the following options.

  • Delete the existing Cisco Webex account / username. Cox Business can then create a username with Cisco Webex.
  • Change your MyAccount username to prevent a conflict with the existing Cisco Webex username.

If your MyAccount username contains a domain that is claimed by Cisco Webex, choose one of the following options.

  • Release the domain.
  • Change your MyAccount username to prevent a conflict with the existing Cisco Webex username.
