Managing Contour Notifications


Contour notifications are pushed to receivers to provide you with the following information.

  • Updates on your account and services.
  • Informs when new devices are connected
  • Tips and Tricks to ensure you are kept up to date on features.

Identifying Unread Messages

A new notification is present when a blue indicator displays under the Main Menu.
Access Messages

  1. Press the CONTOUR button on the Cox remote.
    Result: The Main Menu displays.
  2. Use the arrow key to highlight the Notification icon, then press OK.
    Results: The Notifications display.
    Note: After accessing and reviewing the notification, the blue indicator no longer displays.
