How to Read Your Cox Bill


If you are interested in paying your bill online, visit myaccount-business.cox.com.

General Billing Information

TV, Internet, Cox Business Voice services, and any features you have are billed one month in advance. If upgrades or downgrades are made to services during a billing cycle, monthly charges may be prorated based on the cycle's remaining days. If services are only provided for a partial month, monthly charges may be prorated based on days of service. Long-distance, local toll charges, directory assistance, and operator-assisted calls are based on usage for that billing period. The total amount on your bill is due by the due date printed on your bill.

Summary Page

The Summary Page of your Cox Bill provides key details regarding your account right on the first page.

Note: Billing statements are sent to the customer's mailing address. To update your mailing address information, see Updating Your Mailing Address.

  • Some customers may have a unique invoice number for billing purposes listed on the first page of their statement, as shown below. Your Cox account number displays on the pages that follow.

3 Account Summary - Reflects the following
  • Bill print date - Displays the as of the date
  • Previous Balance
  • Payment Received
  • Summary and total of new charges
  • Total Due and the due date
4 Payment Coupon - When mailing your payment, simply tear it off and enclose it with your payment. To pay online, refer to Making a Payment Online.

The additional pages within your Cox Bill provide more detailed information about your subscribed services.
