Editing Fax to Email

Details

Cox Business Fax-to-Email provides a dedicated phone number to receive faxes. Fax-to-Email allows you to easily manage faxes as file attachments in your email program. Fax-to-Email may be purchased along with a voice service package or as a standalone service. For additional information, see About Cox Business Fax to Email.
 

Complete the following steps to add or delete email addresses for your Fax-to-Email service.

Go to myaccount-business.cox.com, enter your User ID and Password, and then click Sign In.
 

Note: If you have not created an online profile with a User ID and Password, refer to Setting Up Your Online Profile.

From the Services section, click the Voice icon.

Do you have more than one account?

  • If no, then continue to the next step.
  • If yes, then from the Select an account drop-down menu, select the account to modify.

Are you a Profile Administrator or a Profile Owner changing a user's number?

  • If yes, then continue to the next step.
  • If no, then proceed to step 6 for changing your call settings.

Click the arrow to expand the User & System Management section and complete the following.

  1. Click User Feature Settings.

  2. Locate the number you are modifying and click Edit.

Click the User & System Management arrow to expand the section, and then click Fax To Email.

Note: If the Fax To Email link does not display, go to www.coxbusiness.com/contactus to speak with our Sales team about adding this feature.

Are you adding or deleting an email address?
 

Note: To change an email address, you will need to delete the existing email address then add a new one.
 

If...Then...
Adding
  1. Locate the fax number you are setting up and click the Add New Email link.

    Result: The Add New Email window displays.

  2. In the Enter email address field, enter the email address that you would like to receive the faxes.
  3. In the Re-enter email address field, enter the email address again.
  4. Click Save.

Deleting
  1. Locate the fax number you are setting up and click the Delete Email link.

    Result: The Delete Email window displays.

  2. Click Confirm.
