Edit Tickets in the Cox Business MyAccount App

Solution

In the Cox Business MyAccount app, you are able to access, review, and edit all of the open and pending tickets on your Cox Business account. Follow the steps below to edit your open tickets in the MyAccount app.

Sign into the Cox Business MyAccount app using your User ID and Password.
 

Note: If you do not have a MyAccount profile, you may register in the Cox Business MyAccount app or on the MyAccount Setup page.

From the Home screen in the My Support section, tap Ticket Summary.

From the Ticket Summary screen, complete the following steps to view the open ticket you would like to edit.

  1. Scroll to locate the open ticket or search for the ticket in the Search Ticket field using any of the following information.
    • Ticket ID
    • Ticket Type
    • Service Name
    • Account Alias
    • Date Created
    • Status

  2. Tap the open ticket you want to edit.

From the Ticket Details screen, complete the following steps to view and edit the open ticket.

  1. Click on any of the following fields to view read-only information regarding the ticket.
    • Contact Information
    • Request Details
    • Issue Description
    • Comment Log
    • Restoral Activity
    • View Ticket Activity Log
  2. To edit the Contacts, Comments, or Attachments for this ticket, tap Edit Ticket.

From the Edit Ticket Details screen, tap the arrow to open the drop-down menu to edit your contacts, comments, or attachments.

  • To update your ticket contact information, tap Manage Contacts and proceed to step 6.
  • To update the comments on the ticket, tap Manage Comments and proceed to step 7.
  • To add or delete ticket attachments, tap Manage Attachments and proceed to step 8.

From the Manage Contacts section, complete the following steps to edit your ticket contact information.

  1. To update existing contact information, tap Manage next to the contact name.

  2. From the Edit Contact screen, complete the appropriate updates and tap Update.
  3. Tap Delete Contact to delete the contact information.
  4. To add additional contacts, tap Add Alternate Contact and complete the following fields.
    • Full Name
    • Callback Number
    • Email Address
    • Check the box if you want this as your preferred contact
    • Tap Save
  5. On the updated contact screen complete the following fields.
    • Preferred Method of Contact
    • Best Time to Call
  6. Tap Save

From the Manage Comments section, complete the following steps to view or add new comments to your ticket.

  1. To add a comment to the ticket, enter the details in the Type Your Comment field.

  2. To view the historical notes on the ticket, tap View All Comments.
  3. Tap Save.

From the Manage Attachments section, complete the following steps to add or delete attachments to your ticket.

  1. To add a new attachment to the ticket, tap Add Attachment.

  2. Browse your mobile phone's folders or photos to select the applicable document.
  3. To delete an attachment from the ticket, tap Delete next to the document.
