Deleting Email Accounts Online


Use the following steps to delete a Cox email account online.

  • An email account will remain in pending deletion status for 90 days before the deletion is permanent.
  • Contact us before you delete or suspend an email account if you would like to designate a wildcard domain.

Go to myaccount-business.cox.com, enter your User ID and Password, and then click Sign In.

Note: If you have not created an online profile with a User ID and Password, refer to Setting Up Your Online Profile.


From the Services section, click the Internet icon.

From the Business Internet page, click the Email Administration icon.

From the Email Administration page, complete the following steps.

  1. Click the box next to the email address that needs to be deleted.
  2. From the Select Action drop-down menu, click the Delete link.

  3. On the confirmation pop-up window, click the Confirm button.

    Result: A confirmation message displays.

Refresh the page to view the updates.
