Deleting Email Accounts in MyAccount

Solution

When a MyAccount user no longer requires an email account, use the following steps to delete the email account in MyAccount.

Notes:

  • An email account will remain in pending deletion status for 90 days before the deletion is permanent.
  • Contact us before you delete or suspend an email account if you would like to designate wildcard domain.

In a web browser, go to myaccount.coxbusiness.com.

  1. Enter your Email Administrator User ID and Password.
  2. Click Sign In.

    Note: If you do not remember your User ID or Password, or experience an issue signing in, then see Trouble Signing in on the Cox Website.

From the My Services section, click the Internet tab, then click Email Administration.

From the Email Administration page, complete the following steps.

  1. Click the box next to the email address that needs to be deleted.
  2. From the Select Action drop-down menu, select Delete.

  3. On the confirmation pop-up window, click Confirm.

    Result: A confirmation message displays.

Refresh the page to view the updates.
