Customizing Your Detection Mobile App

Solution

Once signed in to the Cox Business Security Solutions detection mobile app, you are on the My Business page. This is where you find your system features and devices presented in customizable tiles. The My Business page cannot be deleted but it can be customized for your preferences. You can also create custom pages.

Use the table below to customize your My Business page or add a customized page to your mobile app.


Customization Process
Reorder the devices or features tiles
  1. Tap Edit.
  2. Select and hold the square Move icon of the tile you would like to move.
  3. Drag it to the desired position on the page, and release.
  4. Tap Done.
Add device or feature tiles
  1. Tap Edit.
  2. From the Add to Page menu, tap the tile for each device you want to add.
  3. Tap the X icon at the top of the Add to Page menu.
  4. Tap Done.

Remove device or feature tiles

  1. Tap Edit.
  2. Tap the X on the tiles you would like to remove.
  3. Tap Done.

Create custom page

  1. From the My Business page, tap the More menu and select Pages.
  2. Tap Create to begin a new page.
  3. From the Add to Page menu, tap the tile for each device you want to add.
  4. Tap the X icon at the top of the Add to Page menu.
  5. To name your new custom page, tap the default page name.
  6. From the Rename Page screen, erase the default name, and enter the new name in the text box.
  7. Tap Save.
  8. Tap Done at the top right of the screen to close the menu.
