Create or Edit a Schedule in VoiceManager

Solution

Schedules allow you to configure timeframes that define how incoming calls will be managed. Once schedules are created, they display as an option available for selection on other feature setting pages, such as Sequential Ring, Auto Attendant, and Call Notify. This feature is available with any VoiceManager package or IP Centrex service.

Use the following steps below to enable the Holiday Schedule feature.

Access MyAccount and sign in.

Under the Voice tab in My Services section, click Voice Tools.

In User & System Management section, click View More Features.

Click Schedules.

Click Add Schedule/Event.

On the Add Schedule/Event screen, complete the following steps

  1. In the Schedule Name: field enter the name of the holiday.
  2. In the Type: section, select Holiday.
  3. In the Access: section, select if this is a Group or Personal schedule.
  4. In the Event Name: field enter a name for the event.
  5. Enter or select the Start Date and the End Date of the holiday.

    Note: If the holiday is only one day, enter or select the same day in both fields.

  6. In the Recurs: drop down, select how often the holiday recurs.

Are you adding additional holiday schedules?

  • If no, click Save.
  • If yes, complete the following steps.
    1. Click Save & Add Another.
    2. Repeat steps 6 and 7.

Edit an Existing Schedule

To edit the holiday schedule.

Access MyAccount and sign in.

Under the Voice tab in My Services section, click Voice Tools.

In User & System Management section, click View More Features.

Click Schedules.

Are you editing the name of the holiday?

  • If yes, complete the following steps.
    1. Click Edit for the holiday you are editing.
    2. In the Name field, enter the new name.
    3. Click Save.
  • If no, continue to the next step.

To edit the details of the holiday schedule, complete the following steps.

  1. Click the arrow next to the name of the holiday.
  2. Click Edit for the event you are editing.
  3. In the Event Name: field enter a name for the event.
  4. Enter or select the Start Date and the End Date of the holiday.

    Note: If the holiday is only one day, enter or select the same day in both fields.

  5. In the Recurs: drop down, select how often the holiday recurs.
  6. Click Save.
