Use the table below to see the server settings you'll need to configure your third-party email client or application to send or receive your Cox Business Email.

Note: Use the following to support existing email. Cox Business cannot add new email services.

Note: This is a secured port with SSL enabled and the authentication box must be checked.

Maximum Message Size 40 MB

Note: Maximum message size includes headers and attachments. The recommended message size is 30 MB for optimal functionality.
Maximum Number of Email Messages an Account Can Hold 10,000, regardless of size
Storage Cox Provides 2 GB per email account
Username Full email address
Authentication Method Plain text and POP before SMTP

Note: You must download to send. Cox doesn't offers the ability to send without authenticating, also known as smart host.
