Changing Your Cox Business Email and MyAccount Password

Solution

Cox has made some improvements to the Cox Business Email platform, which will require you to change your password. Go to www.myaccount.coxbusiness.com, log in with your MyAccount username, then follow the on-screen prompts to change your password.

Note: You will also need to update your password on any device that you use to access your Cox Business Email. The following list provides links to assist with changing your third-party email client.


The following steps are for the Cox Business MyAccount Profile Owner. If you are not a Profile Owner and want to change your password, then see Changing Your Cox Business MyAccount Password.

Complete the following steps to change your Cox Business Email and MyAccount password.

In a web browser, go to myaccount.coxbusiness.com.

  1. Enter your Email Administrator User ID and Password.
  2. Click Sign In.

    Note: If you do not remember your User ID or Password, or experience an issue signing in, then see Trouble Signing in on the Cox Website.

Use the following to complete the password change prompts.

  1. In the Old password field, enter the current MyAccount password.
  2. In the New password field, enter a new password.
  3. In the Repeat password field, enter the new password a second time.
  4. Click Change Password.

Was the password change successful?

  • If yes, then no further action is needed. You are now able to access and manage your email in MyAccount by clicking the Business Email Image of myaccount business email icon icon.

    Note: You do not have to change your Webmail password.

  • If no, then contact us for additional assistance at cox.com/business/contact-us.html.

    Note: You can only change the password on your email account. You are unable to change the password for other email users.
