Changing the Username in the Detection Subscriber Portal

Solution

During your detection system installation, the Cox Technician assists you to set up and activate your account. At any time, you can change your username by following the steps below.

Sign in to your detection subscriber portal.

From the My Business page, click the More menu.

Click Account.

Click CHANGE USERNAME.

Complete the following steps.

  1. In the New Username field, enter a new username.

    Note: Your username must be less than 20 characters in length and can include upper and lower case letters, numbers, and any of the following special characters: !#$%^&*.

  2. In the Confirm Username field, re-enter the new username.
  3. Click SAVE.

Result: Your username is now changed. The next time you sign into the subscriber portal, use your new username.
