Changing the Username in the Detection Subscriber Portal

Solution

During your detection system installation, the Cox Technician assists you to set up and activate your account. At any time, you can change your username by following the steps below.

Sign in to the detection subscriber portal.

At the top of the page, click My Account.

From the My Account section, click the Username tab.

Complete the following steps.

  1. In the New Username field, enter a new username.

    Note: Your username must be less than 20 characters in length and can include upper and lower case letters, numbers, and any of the following special characters: !#$%^&*.

  2. In the Confirm New Username field, re-enter the new username.
  3. Click CHANGE USERNAME.

Result: Your username is now changed. The next time you sign into the subscriber portal, use your new username.
