Use the following steps to update Microsoft Outlook 2007-2016 to secure port settings for sending and receiving your Cox Business Email.

To launch Outlook, click Start or the Windows icon , then click Microsoft Outlook.
Access the Account Settings window using the steps in the following table.

From the Account Settings window, select your Cox Business Email account and then click Change.
From the Change Account window, complete the following steps.
From the Internet Email Settings window, click the Advanced tab.
From the Advanced tab, update the following settings.
Note: Do not change any other settings on the Advanced tab other than what is displayed in steps 6 and 7.
From the Advanced tab, use the table below to update the unsecure port numbers to secure port numbers.

Click on the Outgoing Server tab, then update the following settings.
From the Change Account window, click Next and then Finish.
From the Account Settings window, click Close.
