Arm and Disarm the Detection System in the Mobile App

With your Cox Business Security Solutions mobile app, it is easy to arm and disarm your security system or turn security zones on and off. You can also receive alerts on your phone when something triggers one of the alarm sensors.

Arming Your Detection System 

Follow the steps below to arm your security system from your mobile device.

Sign in to the Cox Business Security Solutions mobile app.

From the Overview screen, tap the green Disarmed tile.

From the Arm Your System screen, complete these steps.

1. Tap the arming mode: Stay or Away.
2. Enter your Keypad Code.
   
   
   
   Result: The system begins the countdown to Arm.
   
   
3. If any security zones are currently faulted and preventing the system from being armed, you will be alerted to these at the time of arming.
   
   Note: Bypassed zones return to their ON or protected state each time your system is disarmed.

Disarming Your Detection System

Follow the steps below to disarm your security system from your mobile device.

Sign in to the Cox Business Security Solutions mobile app.

From the Overview screen, tap the red Armed tile.

Enter your Keypad Code.

Result: The security tile displays Disarmed.
