Accessing the Voice Portal as an Admin

Solution

Follow the steps below to access the Voice Portal.

Use the table below to access the Voice Portal as an Admin.
 

If using... Then...
VoiceManager Extension
  1. Dial 9999#.
  2. After the Voice Portal prompt is given, press the * key.
  3. Enter 9999#.
  4. When prompted, enter the Admin Voice Portal Admin password.
Non-VoiceManager Telephone Number to the ten-digit external number
  1. Enter one of the two following numbers:
    • The Admin's ten-digit VoiceManager Telephone Number followed by the # key.
    • The ten-digit Auto Attendant number followed by the # key.
  2. When prompted for the passcode, press the * key.
  3. When prompted for an extension number, enter 9999#.
  4. When prompted for a passcode, enter the Admin (not User) Voice Portal passcode followed by the # key.

Select a Service Option and choose from the sub-menu below.
 

Note: If you have more than one Auto Attendant line, the menu will ask the Administrator to enter the specific Auto Attendant number they need to change.

1 - Change the Auto-Attendant Greeting

Business Hours Greeting
 

Note: The same sub-menu options as After Business Hours Greeting.

After Business Hours Greeting

  • Record New Greeting
  • Listen to Existing Greeting
  • Revert to Default Greeting
    • Allows Caller to Dial by Extension
    • Allows Caller to Dial by Name Directory
    • Allows Caller to Dial the Company Operator
2 - Branding Configuration Menu

This feature cannot be used unless you have ordered a private number for Voice Portal in lieu of using the Market Region Voice Portal number.
 

Note: A private number allows you to create and use a company specific Voice Portal recording with tailored messages for employees.
