Accessing the Parental Control PIN History Feature on Contour

Solution

Access the PIN History through the Parental Control Menu and see when programs were locked, blocked, failed attempts to use a PIN number, and other Parental Control-related features.

On the Cox remote, press the CONTOUR button.

Press the arrow buttons to highlight Settings, then press OK.

Press the down arrow button to highlight Parental Controls, then press OK.

Enter your four-digit PIN.

Press the down arrow button to highlight PIN History, then press OK.

Results: A list of any actions that required the use of the Parental Control PIN displays. The list includes the following information.

  • Date of the action
  • Time of the action
  • If the PIN was entered correctly
