 Standard TV and VCR connections

IMPORTANT:Do not plug the DVR power cord into the wall outlet until you have completed all connections between the DVR and other equipment.

Connecting a sandard definition TV and VCR

  1. Connect an RF coaxial cable to the cable wall outlet and the CABLE IN port on the DVR.
  2. Connect a stereo audio cable to the AUDIO OUT R and L ports on the DVR and the INPUT AUDIO R and L ports on the VCR.
  3. Connect a video cable to the VIDEO OUT port on the DVR and the INPUT VIDEO port on the VCR.
  4. Connect a stereo audio cable to the OUTPUT AUDIO R and L ports on the VCR and the INPUT AUDIO RIGHT and LEFT ports on the standard definition TV.
  5. Connect a video cable to the OUTPUT VIDEO port on the VCR and the INPUT VIDEO port on the standard definition TV.

Connecting a standard definition TV only

  1. Connect an RF coaxial cable to the cable wall outlet and the CABLE IN port on the DVR.
  2. Connect the stereo audio cable to the AUDIO R and L ports on the DVR and the AUDIO LEFT and AUDIO RIGHT ports on the standard definition TV.
  3. Connect a video cable to the VIDEO OUT port on the DVR and the INPUT VIDEO on the TV or an S-video cable to the S-VIDEO ports on the DVR and the TV
